I hope you use this as a reference when you are judging your own art creations. 2-dimensional art, that is. Drawings, paintings, photographs: the ideas herein apply to all forms of 2-D art.
I have been attracted to the effects of watercolor paint on paper and that has been a major interest for me since 1967 when I first decided - (boy, is THAT an important word)! - had the conviction in my mind - that I would learn to paint in watercolor and do it well!
There are 7 principles which enable us to produce interesting art and so each section will cover one of those seven principles in outline fashion.
